Current Definition Learning, cooperative
A number of students engage in learning activities that are some how coordinated. For instance, a topic might be divided up so that different individuals or sub-teams pursue different parts of an investigation or project and then come back together to share their findings. The emphasis of both the learning activities and the evaluation of learning results focuses on the individuals as learners.
